It all begins with the initial contact and consultation. During a consultation, I listen as clients tell me about their upcoming special occasion. Some want to have an elegant romantic dinner with their significant other. Some are planning wedding rehearsal dinners for 50 guests.


I also ask my clients questions about what they and their guests would enjoy eating. Sometimes they want their friends and family to share the experience of foods from around the world. Other times, they want to recreate favorite dishes from their childhood.  Some just want appetizers, while others want entrees, side dishes and desserts, too.


I always leave time during the consultation to answer any questions the client might have. Then, I discuss menu options and if we agree that it's a match made in culinary heaven, we schedule the date.


I include the cost of food and labor in my fee. Labor includes final menu planning, shopping, meal preparation and clean up on the day of the event. I accept an initial deposit to hold the date. The balance is payable on the date of the event. This allows the client to pay for my personal chef services over two dates. Just as important, it

enables me to shop for the highest quality ingredients and freshest vegetables from the best vendors in metropolitan Atlanta.


On the day of the event, I take care of shopping and then I arrive at the client's location. I prepare their kitchen and then cook and plate their meal. Once I'm done, I leave the kitchen sparkling clean.
